Did you ever want to create a massive poster, say 4' x 4' or 8' x 8' from an image that looks barely acceptable as a 320 pixel JPEG on your computer screen?
Naturally, this is an exaggerated case, but that is exactly what pOpOp can do, and in the process, can turn a simple image into something artistic.
pOpOp includes neat features which look like halftoning algorithms but are in fact, a form of raster to vector conversion using point sampling. We've made it (hopefully) quite easy to make use of.
To take advantage of this specific feature of the software, use the
PDF Posters preset category and utilize any cheap pics or the webcam as the source of your initial image.
Given a 320x240 pixel input image, pOpOp can output a scaleable PDF vector image that you can take to your local Kinkos or service bureau for printing at giant resolution...
