VirtualEyez Updated to 2.0.9 - Yosemite, Mavericks, Skype and Safari 8

VirtualEyez - our live, three camera video switcher for Mac (with greenscreen) - has been updated to 2.0.9.

The new version includes faster virtual camera (CMIO & VDIG) drivers that enhance compatibility with Skype and Safari (live streaming via Adobe Flash).

Download directly from our website at BLKOPVEYE_esd.dmg.

If you are upgrading from an earlier version, be sure to update the CMIO driver (found in Preferences...).

VirtualEyez & FourEyes3D Updated for Mountain Lion

FourEyes3D, our 3D webcam driver, and VirtualEyez, our el-cheapo greenscreen virtual camera, have been updated for Mountain Lion and Gatekeeper.

Compatibility fixes for 10.5.8 Leopard (PowerPC) are also included.

VirtualEyez Updated to 1.005

We have a new version of VirtualEyez that adds some features and fixes some bugs. VirtualEyez opens the iSight camera using shared camera mode and then provides a virtual camera driver that emulates the shared camera to all older applications that don't know about the shared camera. It's the ultimate webcam virtualization solution for Mac.

VirtualEyez also performs on the fly greenscreen compositing and brightness controls, allowing you to instantly create a cheap virtual broadcast studio for your podcast. VirtualEyez uses broadcast quality keying algorithms which means your greenscreen will look as good or better than what you see on television. Just be sure and use a professional greenscreen blanket ($50) and light the green backdrop independently. We cover this in our DIY greenscreen tutorial.

VirtualEyez - Go Live on Greenscreen - From Any App!

Today we released VirtualEyez - the easy way to add greenscreen compositing effects LIVE in any webcam-enabled application. Supports live greenscreen, bluescreen, arbitrary color removal, and luma key modes.

Rebroadcasts the camera with a pre-multiplied alpha channel suitable for recording in QuickTime Pro (for later use in a Final Cut or Motion project). Or bring the VirtualEyez camera input live into CamCamX, DotMatrix or Q@amera for more FX and/or MIX.
